Tarot Room
Welcome to Psychic Library’s Tarot Room. The tarot cards, when used as a divination tool, serve as windows into the human experience whether they reflect our spiritual side; our past, present and future paths; our own personal characteristics; or the varied individuals with whom we interact in our daily lives.
The pictorial 78-card tarot deck is divided into two sections the Major Arcana (22 cards) and Minor Arcana (56 cards). The Major Arcana cards depict issues you might encounter on your path throughout life, and the Minor Arcana cards explain life situations and people you might meet during your day-to-day life.
Keep in mind that the impact of each tarot card can vary and its interpretation depends on the spread used, the card placement in the spread, its proximity to the positions of the other cards, the deck preference of the reader and whether the card is in the upright or reverse position.
INTERACTIVE TAROT DECK
Psychic Library presents the Interactive Tarot Deck. Our deck provides an interpretation of each card in the upright and reversed positions. Click on the card to find its meaning. TAROT FOR BEGINNERS
Our tarot for beginners section is a good guide to get you started. Many tarot decks are available for purchase. The most popular is the Rider-Waite deck. However, when shopping for one, try to get a feel for the deck by either touching the cards or, if you can’t do that, look at the drawings that are depicted on the box. Find a deck that appeals to you use your intuition. Keep in mind that there are also many used decks for sale, either in used bookshops or online. However, those used decks might contain unfamiliar and unwanted energies that you may not understand. Clear your mind and listen to your gut reaction if you don’t get a good feeling while touching or looking at the deck, don’t buy it. But if you are given a deck out of love and in your best interest from an individual you know, this is also a very good beginning.
TAROT CARD SPREADS
A tarot card spread is the method by which a tarot card reader physically lays out or places the cards on the table and then interprets the card meanings for the querent. Not only are there many different types of tarot card decks available, there are also many different spreads used by card readers. For example, the very popular Celtic Cross spread does not follow one standardized card layout. The basic cross and column diagram is the same, but the order in which the cards are spread in the cross varies greatly. Listed below are some spreads using the popular Rider-Waite tarot deck, which are also used for free readings in the Oracle Room. Variations exist between these different spreads, as well. Card readers determine the spread and the deck to use based upon their personal preferences. No matter what deck or spread is used, the outcome is the same you will receive answers to your questions and predictions for your future.
