This willful and domineering king of the jungle handles the household as his kingdom. How dare anyone challenge the authority of the king! The Leo pets exude royalty, but will defend their family to the end. Mind you, they are great with other animals and guests, especially children, as long as they feel they are still top dog and being obeyed. Making the king comfortable is important.

Leos do not care for isolation or dark spaces. This can cause melancholy. So, it is important to let the sun shine in or leave a light on to keep their spirits up. Lots of play and attention is the best way to keep our king happy.
